The doctor I saw for my breast explant was Dr. Chun in Newport Beach. I am not affiliated in anyway with him and I do not earn anything if you decide to go see him. I HIGHLY recommend him. He is the only doctor I would trust with my life and in my particular case with my deformity. He did an amazing job, seeing how complicated my case was and the risk of me losing skin. I am very satisfied with my physical results and I am also 70% better after explanting. I recognize I had these implants in my body for over 5 years and the detoxing has just begun. I asked to be put on a cancellation list and my explant surgery was rescheduled a whole year earlier. Yes, he is a very very busy man and the list to explant is a very long one. I understand the frustration and stress you can feel knowing you want to remove them asap so that is my biggest take away from all of this on top of always trusting your surgeon. If I had decided to go under the breast fold I would probably not have skin on the left side of my breast today. ♡

There are many types of breast augmentation procedures as well as different types of implants. Today’s video shows Dr. Nima Naghishineh (Dr. Nima Nash) accompanied by Dr. Leif Rogers doing a breast augmentation using 400cc silicone round implants inserted through an incision under the breast. Silicone filled implants offer an organic feel and are generally less likely to ripple than saline filled implants. All implants used since November 2006 are made of cohesive silicone gel as opposed to the liquid silicone previously used. The benefit of cohesive gel is that should rupture occur, the gel will not run.

In this video, East Yorkshire cosmetic and plastic surgeon, Mr Vasu Karri performs a breast implant exchange to treat Grade IV capsular contracture. The patient had hard, painful abnormal-looking breasts.

The old breast implants and surrounding capsules were removed as one unit and replaced with round, silicone, cohesive-gel implants.
Mr Karri used his modified muscle-splitting technique to ensure a natural, beautiful result.

At the end of the video there are before and after photos, so you can see the difference the surgery made.
